I read the bible a lot not for sermons but for everyday nourishment to be feed spiritually. One day I can across a passage in Judges 4 and in this paticular cyle of Judges God called a woman to Judge Israel her name was Deborah. Now what astounded me was the fact of since Genesis God had a man to lead/Judge Israel there were several men but to name a few Adam, Abram, Moses, , (ring a bell) and now even with no clear cut leader after the conquest of Joshua to the time of the Judges there were men before her such as Othniel & Ehud and my question was
Why a woman?????? (no dis-respect)
The Holy Spirit answered me and said history repeats itself what you see now was going on back then, so..... I began to think that the reason was and it clearly states in the Bible that the Isrealite men were sleeping around with gentile woman serving Idol God's (objects) occuping there time with the ways of the world so God used an unlikely source (Deborah) to do his work.........
Now if you read this passage you will find a man (barak)who was the general of the army who's job is to protect and serve and be ready to ''do or die'' at anytime, and he was so Deborah issues a decree to barak to deploy all the troop to Mt Tabor and God WILL deliver the commander Sisera (who has had them enslaved for 20 hard years of oppression) into your hands... or the Victory will be Yours as a MAN, But Barak says to Deborah......
''If you will go with me then I will go''
Now the general (Barak a man) is scared and ask the Woman (Deborah) to fight with him...........HUH
Then she Deborah says '' I will surely go with you; nevertheless, the trip you take will not be for your glory, for the Lord will sell Sisera into the hand of a woman.
See Deborah knew how important it was for the ''MAN'' to receive the Glory but the "MAN'' was/is scared to take his ordanied position as the ''LEADER''
So men the natural order of things are for men to lead but when we are to busy to do GOD'S work the woman has to take over and it upset's the natural order of things so MEN take your position not as dictators but as leaders and let's let the woman rest and marvel over what GOD is doing through us.....

Roman 12:2 says:
And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind (a)
The word this indicates a thing that was mentioned or pointed out it sets a difference between one to another, So when you read ''do not be comformed'' it assumes an outward expression that doesnt reflect whats inside.
''THIS'' world
refers to a system of belief's or values!! ''Comtemparary Thinking''
To name a few would be sexual immorality, love of money, evil doing, anything that contradicts God dont.. reflect them..
But what's on the flip side of ''THIS'' ????
It is the indications of another realm, world or even another dimension of some kind (heaven) And this Statement God also gives us a choice rather to comform or not!!!!!! What's your choice??????
So How do I be apart of a world other than "THIS" one??????
Good question!! By being ''Transformed'' greek word is ''metamorphosis'' means to Change in outward appearance (or sinful nature)
How is that possible there is so much wrong to get into???
By the renewing of your mind which can only come from the Holy Spirit changing you BY meditating on every word God says through scripture...
So you have a choice rather to live for ''THIS'' world or be renewed to God's world Choose quik before there is ........

As you take inventory of what you have and look at who's depending on you (family) It doesnt look good,
all I see if bills, bills, bills, the wife/ kids in need of things, and me as the ''provider'' cant support the 1st thing I see if that '' I am down and asking how do I get out'' no check's in sight, money is funny been robbing peter to pay paul and now peter doesnt have it for me to take from him and this is how quikly despression can set in when you feel the weight of the world is on your shoulders and more people continue to add more pounds (screaming) what do I do??????
This is the time not to pout but to trust God in the your lack began to cry out to him about your circumstance Give all your worries and cares to God, for he cares about you.
This may seem like the craziest thing to do simply because you see no instant results
this is why we have to have faith which is
confidence that what we hope for will actually happen; it gives us assurance about things we cannot see.
God is asking??????
Can you trust me?
DO you trust me?
Will you trust me?
The unknown is what we are afraid of and thats the unknown of!!!!
How are my bills going to get paid?
Will My wife get what she deserves?
Will my kids get what they need from me?
And in the flesh it just doesnt look like it going to happen but Gods says I will supply all your needs from his glorious riches, and if your apart of God's kingdom you understand that you are an heirs to all God has he will never leave you nor forsake you so continue to pray, fast, study, meditate, and lastly believe God's is able to do whats seems impossible to you stay encouraged, stay the course of the Will of God and watch him work....

As I am in my Morning Worship session The song that I am listening to is William Mcdowell I surrender all... and it posed a question to me do you really know what surrendering all means?
Surrender- means to Cease resistance to an enemy or opponent and submit to their authority
Now when we surrender to the enemy we admit defeat we concede because we've understood that we never could have won so we give into the demands of enemy..
But the surrendering I am blogging about is to God's will
Now Dont mistake being saved with total surrendering they both are choices, being saved is a life-style and total surrendering to God's WILL is a committment that can never be broken.
You have to want to be subjected to all the persecution that christ endured
sacrifice your whole existance for God's purpose....
This mean that everything God's requests from us we have to say ''YES'' even when you have no idea what your saying yes to this is what surrendering is... you are saying to God I trust your will for my life wherever you take me I want to Go if its difficult times, heartache, if I have to toil, & labor WHATEVER it is I am going to surrender because I trust you for my life
So understand God work through you out of obedience he has given you free will to choose,,, so God as of today

I was inspired this morning from a preacher cant think of his name right now but he exposed a very familiar verse to me and brought new revelation to me through it
Isaiah 6:1 says
It was in the year King Uzziah died that I saw the Lord. He was sitting on a lofty throne, and the train of his robe filled the Temple
Now naturally we now this was Isaiah call to ministry and he happily accepted in verse 8 after humbling himself before the Lord ...
Now before you can get to him being the '' Gospel prophet'' we have to realize what he had blocking him ALL this time........
Text: Isaiah says ''it was the year KING uzziah died that he saw the Lord''
Isaiah had finally realized that the little king he was serving was keeping him from the manifestation of his purpose..
My question to you is plain..... What King(s) are keeping you from your Godly purpose??????
We serve little kings of......
Jobs- because we make a decent wage and live comfortably this comes first
A man/woman- thinking that what they give us makes us happy and dependent upon them
Material thing- boasting upon as if they make you the person you are trying to be something your not
And the sad part about it is that ''society'' says this is life and we agree with the same people doent do anything to help us..........
BUT i come to tell you if that Uzziah doesn't die or you don't kill it or put GOD first! The most important part of you will be condemned and lost with no direction .......your SOUl
I need you to be able to see GOD for being the reason you have a good Job, money, cars, etc.... but that's just the beginning when you see him for who he is all these things want matter but what will matter is you ''GODLY PURPOSE''

Often Time we are caught up in this belief that all we have to do is go to church sing a song put a few dollars in the plate and that would be pleasing to GOD,
Then we start believing that whenever we do something wrong if i just go to the Church I will be absolved,,
Yes God wants us to honor places of worship that are built unto him, he want us to fellowship with other Christians, worship with each other,
come together for the edification of his kingdom YES he wants that.. But he is much more interested inYOU personally then the Building.
He wants to change you and refresh the relationship you should have with him. He wants you to be Intimate with him, to desire his presence to meditate on his words and carry out his tasks.....If you read your bible Thats why in the O.T he let the Tabernacle be destroyed by the Phillistines, he let Solomons Temple get destroyed by the Babylonians, And also the second temple after the post-exile be destroyed by the Romans He wants you to realize its not about fancy Words, nice ''preacher voices'' its about your body he wants as a living sacrafice for him
He is about builing a relationship with you, The lesson in the Old Testament in my view is ....
When your right with God you will get the blessing and the covenent
But when you sin against god the curses will come.
If you know the stories you see that God was with them but they continued to do what they felt and then run back to God when it fails
